What's your name and where are you from? I'm Paul and I'm from England.

How old are you? Please give your answer in Reverse Polish Notation. Normally I'd smile and nod at questions like this, as you can't see me doing so I'll just say I'm 20.

How long have you been playing WoW? Just over a year now.

Is this your main? How often do you play this character? Tell us about your other characters, including any serious alts. It is my second newest 80, but also the one I enjoy most so I'd say yes, it's now my main. Aside from that, I have a priest named Aeacides whom I applied with earlier this year, also I have a hunter and a death knight. But this is the character I play with most.

What's your complete guild history, on this realm as well as any other? Why did you leave / are you leaving your current or previous guild? On this character? I've nott been in a serious raiding guild since being level 80. But, on other characters I've been in Inner Solitude, but they disbanded, Renatus Vir, also disbanded.

Provide the names of some people we can get in touch with in-game as references. Please note that references are required: give names of characters on other realms, if necessary. If you know anyone on the Path, either in-game or IRL, mention that here also. Moraduial, I'd say. I've played with Savian a couple of times too, but it'd be arrogant of me to assume he'd remember me.

What is your role in raids? How do you judge whether you're doing a good job or not? Damage, if my DPS is not the lowest, I'd like to think I'm doing my job.

What's your PvE experience like? I've done ICC10/25 First six on both, though never downed festergut in 25 man, I know tactics though. Infact I did ICC25 with you earlier this week.

Describe your choice of spec, how you came to your current build, and any other things you feel we should know about why you spent your talent points the way you did. My current build is the generic ele build, as told by wowpopular. As for glyphs I cloned those of Trivial, the realms top elemental shaman.

Where do you go to read about your class outside of the game? Elitist jerks, WoWvault

Roleplaying Section: End your application with a short in-character biography, a note from your character to the officers, or other RP story or RP statement about yourself. Effort is much more appreciated than length or content, and this section is not optional. Well, Vegarr's pretty much given up hope for Azeroth being saved, so he wants to explore it all, before it falls to ruin. So he's currently exploring the world, scavenging things as souvenirs. He's usually cheery, despite his miserable belief.

Additional notes. Optionally, mention anything else you'd like us to know about your application. If I'm not adequate as a raider, I'd also like to join as a social member, worst comes to worse.

Thanks for your time <3

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the (second) application. Could you go bang on a Level ?? target dummy for 3-5 minutes and send us a screenshot of Recount? Self-buffs, but no bloodlust, please.

Right! Thank you. I've edited the image out of your first post as it was kind of skewing things.

Our current progress point requires each damage-dealer to do 7200 DPS if we're going to succeed. You might be almost there with the 15% buff and raid buffs. But my question to you is this: what are your plans to improve your DPS besides just getting better gear?

Well, you can probably see on my screen there's an addon. It's called Elementarist, I've not used it up until now so i figured I'd give it a try, if that fails I'll head back to EJ see what else they have to recommend. I also made sure not to pop trinkets or use racial ability for that, so as not to be accused of cheating a higher DPS.

As someone whose raid-boss damage rotation is tailored around a trinket and who uses his racial every time it comes off cd, I really don't think either of them count as 'cheating', just best practice.
