We're looking for friendly, open, active, and ambitious raiders for a 10-player raiding and rated battleground squad at level 85. We're also looking for people who can and want to contribute to the guild in other ways: guild achievements, RP events—anything you can think of, lay it on the table for us.
We're a close-knit guild with its own distinctive personality, though, so we need to go through some stuff here to find out, as best we can, whether you and us are a good fit for one another.
Generally
• Apply when your character is ready. At the start of an expansion, this is a tough one to gauge. But we need to see concrete evidence that you love this character and take care of it.
• Apply when you are ready. You are experienced or willing to learn. You know what you have to do between now and Cataclysm to get ready. Looking ahead, you plan to stay with the game at least for the medium-term at level 85.
Character
• Has a name that is in good taste and complies with the general and RP naming policies as set by Blizzard. Has a name that is plausibly in-character for its race and status.
Gear
• Again, though to quantify at this weird time in the game, but show us that you know what's up and that you've done the best with the situation you're in.
• Furthermore, we will take into account things which are reflective of the effort you've put into your gear independent of your guild/raiding situation. How good are the enchants? Are they correct? Have you gemmed to best enhance your PvE performance?
Professions
• Your professions should show evidence of dedication to and investment in your character. We will make rapid progression through your professions a condition of your trial period.
