Post Loot
Loot in the Luminous Path is distributed according to the EPGP System. You should read about it at http://www.epgpweb.com because the description below assumes that you already know how it works.

ELIGIBILITY

You must run the EPGP_Lootmaster addon to be eligible for loot. Loot is not discussed in any chat channel nor in voice chat: the distribution takes place entirely over the addon's popup screens. No addon means no loot.

You can download the latest version of EPGP_Lootmaster here, among other places.

DISTRIBUTION

We will give out pieces of loot according to the following priority table:

1. Mainspec (PR decides if more than one person wants it);
2. Offspec that you're actually specced and geared/gearing for (EPGP_Lootmaster Roll Note decides if more than one person wants it);
3. Off-Offspec, i.e. that you're not actually specced or geared for but are putting together or thinking about.
4. Greed. Leader gives it to the person with the highest EPGP_Lootmaster roll note. Shard/bank/vendor/whatever.

This applies to both BoP and BoE items, with the exception that BoE items go in the guild bank instead of #4 above.

Please note that rank does not affect loot distribution at all. You are fully eligible for loot and compete on a level playing field with everyone else from the day of your /ginvite.

Mainspec items cost the GP value hard-wired into the addon system. Offspec and below are free. Alts do not accrue GP, but they can't win against mains. See the post on alts in raids for more details.

Effort Points
EP are awared as follows:

in raid instances:

    - 250 per hour of raiding
    - 0-1000 bonus EP at the discretion of the raid leader
    - Players on standby receive 100% of the raid EP as long as they are (a) online, and (b) available immediately, i.e. not doing anything they can't break off within five minutes to sub in.

for rated battlegrounds:

    - 750 EP to all those who (a) sign up and (b) stay online for the entire 3-hour battleground campaign. "Standby" as such isn't an issue here because we can swap out more frequently. See the post on rated battlegrounds for more details.

Gear Points
    - Raid members are considered to have a nominal minimum GP of 100.
    - Social members are considered to have a nominal minimum GP of 500.
    - GP is awarded according to the item values hardwired into the EPGP system. Where the system gives two values, we always use the higher one.
    - GP is not awarded for items given for offspec, disenchanting, or vendoring.
    - BoE epics may be "purchased" from the guild bank for main characters' main specs by agreeing to be hit with the GP value of them.

Where does it run?
    - The guild loot system runs in all top-tier level 85 raid instances.
    - EP may in rare instances be given for other guild achievements at the discretion of the guild leader and in modest amounts. As much as possible, this will be announced in advance.

Information on Other Specific Situations
    - If a non-guildie is in the raid and needs an item for his or her mainspec, all the players needing the item must roll. If the roll winner is a member of the Luminous Path, the loot system takes over as normal: the item will go to the mainspec roller with the highest PR. If the roll winner is a guest, they receive the item.

Post Re: Loot
We have tossed out the buggy, non-working, good-for-nothing EP/GP distribution and moved to a more sophisticated loot system called:

Loot Council

The Loot Council consists of Vedder, Savian, Jotra and Arache.

Things we will take into account when deciding upon who will get items is:

1) Raiders have prio over Socials
2) Attendance
3a) Performance
b) Upgrade from previous item
c) Gaining set bonuses

Offspecc

-If a person uses offspecc frequently in raids
-Other then the above its decided by roll

When an item is wanted. The people that wants the loot will paste the equipped item they want to replace in the raidchat. And the council will take a vote. The GM has the final vote if the council votes makes it a draw.
If a majority of the council wants to give a person the loot, the majority wins over the GM. The GM can only use his powers if the council cant decide.

If a person in the Council wants an item that person is unable to vote on it and the decision will be made by the others in the council.

Additional info

This Loot distribution is only active during the present tier raids.
For Baradin Hold raids it will only be active if we are a full guild group and a PvE item drops.
